Avery's Letter to Santa

This little girl never ceases to amaze me with her sweet, kind little heart. This was her letter to Santa this year.

This year for Thanksgiving we were snowed in to town, so our great friends and neighbors, the Sorensens, invited us over for dinner. It was a fabulous evening full of old-time records playing, candlelight dinner, and just a fun, happy Thanksgiving. We are so thankful for good friends who treat us like family!

Make a Difference Day

On October 24th we had the opportunity to help build an entire park in Richland, WA. It was an amazing experience and the park went from a field to stunning in one day! Our whole family was able to participate thanks to Jeremy's company, who sponsored it. This was one of the pictures that was taken by the company that day and I just wanted to share it. I love seeing my family working side by side and enjoying every minute of it!

Mister Arrow of Light

A hearty Scout round of applause (clap in a circle!) for Mister Zachary Ogden! He has earned his Arrow of Light and has graduated to Boy Scouts! Way to go, Zack. We are so proud of you and all your hard work.

Apple Core...Who's Your Friend?

Saturday was a super day! We had the blessing of going with our dear friends, the Cases, to an apple farm in Mesa, WA. The Empeys, family friends of the Cases, have 900 acres of apples! We enjoyed tons of fresh apples, a ride around the orchard, a tour of their sparkling cider facility, and GREAT company! What a fantastic day! There is so much pleasure to be had in just stopping and beholding the beauty of this earth. We are loving Fall and all this fun with family and friends!

Pumpkin Patch!

We were invited to this fantastic pumpkin patch with Zack and Owen's Scouts group. We had such a fun time picking out our pumpkins together. Actually, this is one of the most fun nights we have had!

New Halloween Warmers!

I LOVE Halloween! I love everything about Fall, but there is just something extra fun about Halloween. I love the costumes, the social excitement of trick-or-treating, kids ringing the doorbell, tons of tasty candy, pumpkins...the list goes on and on!
