Culinary De-lite!

I am so excited about our dinner that we had tonight! I marinated steak in extra virgin olive oil, fresh basil, freshly pressed garlic, fresh ground sea salt and peppercorns, then grilled it...and VIOLA! It was so simple, but turned out so tasty...and very healthy.

My kids gobbled it up and my hubby was oh-so-pleased. I love cooking! =)

We are in!

We are so excited about our new home in WA! We closed on Friday and are all moved in. We are still unpacking a couple straggler boxes, but we are almost finished. Thanks to my mom, Beverly, our kitchen and bathrooms are exceptionally organized and neat...thank heaven for moms! We love the neighborhood and are looking forward to our new ward.

Owen Takes Second!

Owen did a great job in the 2nd grade Spelling Bee today! He took second place and did an amazing job. It was fun to watch him with his friends in his element. He is growing up so quickly. Great job, Owen!

My New Life

This is especially touching because my mother and step-father have been through a similar experience beginning Nov. 8th, 2007. I love what Elder Holland shares at the end. =)
