I suppose there will always be bad things and good things that come out of obsessions. I saw this article, too. I think the best way to prevent the Princess syndrome is to raise a daughter with brothers. Not that you get much choice in the matter, but seriously, they don't dig that princess stuff and it rubs off on the sister.I know my comment doesn't really address the article. The problem is with parenting. When parents learn to say no, dish out chores and use a little more discipline...Problem solved.Jus my 2 cents. :)
